Iestyn Davies started perfecting his glass making skills by producing highly acclaimed bowls and vases before experimenting with glass and various other media. Now he designs and creates unique feature designs for Hotels, Malls and exclusive homes and palaces. He has also developed expertise in incorporating LED and other technology to add an extra dimension to hand made pieces such as the ice chandelier shown. Following over 8 years of frustration and experimenting, he has also perfected the glass fish shown on the 'fish ball' in a private swimming pool and on stainless steel panels. You may not be able to see the gold and silver leaf detail that adds character and authenticity.
" I just had to include this artists work in my collection as another example of the superb glass making and design skills in my home town. Almost every piece is commissioned by private clients, architects or interior designers who want something truly different and unique for their building.
Sometimes the ideas are provided by them but often design ideas and possibilities develop from the Blowzone team who then create and install the feature on location.
